Post the reviews for the books you read this month here.
I'll be doing a draw for a prize pack of Canadian books.
Each book read gets you an entry for the prize pack.
And mine isn't a quick, but the 6th and long awaited Lane Winslow series mystery set in Canada's W Coast Mtns. Talented author, Iona Whishaw, telling WWII espionage experiences of her mum.
I am not familiar with that series, but it sounds good. Thanks as well for the reminder to share the challenge on Twitter. Don't know why I hadn't twigged to that myself!
Audiobooks definitely count as reading! I have certain series I prefer to read in audio format as well, like Louise Penny's Armand Gamache and Alan Bradley's Flavia de Luce
Just saw this comment now Shonna :) Having read through most of Louise Penny's books (just a few left to go) I can't imagine listening to one now (I think it would mess with me). But I haven't read anything by Alan Bradley, but is on my list, so may start listening to that!
I missed finishing this book by a few days for the 12th challenge and it would have given me the 13/13. This however gives me a head start on this challenge. Book 1/13
Thanks so much for carrying the Challenge forward!!!
I'm going to go for 13 Canadian comics/graphic novels and 13 books representing each of the 13 provinces and territories, allowing for overlap when I can.
I'm on the board with 1 comic/graphic novel and Nunavut represented, for a total of 1.
I decided to start the challenge off with a quick read of a great picture book.
